Activity details

Here you can find a session plan to be used by teachers or coaches to run an activity session based around simple challenges. These activities could fit into an extra-curricular environment, training session, or you could encourage pupils to try them out in their own time.

The sprint, standing broad jump, and pick up / throw challenges will help pupils experience some of the activities elite Olympic and Paralympic athletes do as part of their training programmes. The skills activity is a brilliant opportunity for pupils to get creative and show off their individuality!

These activities are part of the FromHome2TheGames campaign which aims to engage young athletes with Olympic and Paralympic sport, and provide opportunities for athletes to explore their potential and try sports they may never have thought about participating in before. Find out more

The campaign is suitable for anyone between the ages of 11-23, and it is free to take part.
