Interschools Tournament - Kennet School
On Thursday 19th October, a sunny Thursday afternoon, two teams of Year 6s, Pangbourne Piratesand Pangbourne Pumas took part in a basketball tournament at Kennet school.
15 teams took part in all, split into two pools. The Pirates won 4 out of their 7 games finishing 5th in their group. The Pumas also won 4 games finishing joint 2nd in their group. This meant the Pumas played a final playoff game, which, they won, to finish 5th overall. All of the children were fantastic and played really well - often praised by the basketball coach for their individual skill and teamwork.
