Exeter & Mid Devon SGO covering Exeter, Tiverton and Crediton. Total of 97 schools. Based at St Luke's C of E School. In what are challenging times, the School Games Organiser Network (450 SGOs) have been tasked with keeping children active (in support of schools)

WHY — to ensure physical literacy and physical fitness is maintained at a time when children’s lifestyles could easily become more sedentary

• To provide DAILY inspiration and inclusive activities which will allow ALL children and young people to continue to access 60 active minutes of physical activity while restricted to their home or whilst still in school

• To support schools in embedding and promoting physical activity, play and sport within virtual curriculums and within schools that remain open

• To support parents in maintaining an active routine for children and young people during the disruption which in turn will help support positive behaviour, mood and well-being as well as enhancing concentration and cognition which will support remote learning.

Alongside using social media and weekly updates. The will be a build up to the Devon Virtual Summer School Games.
