Sport England provide School Games Review update

In August 2016, Sport England announced the findings and recommendations of its review of the School Games, which was completed with support from the Youth Sport Trust and other partners. This review considered the future of the School Games, which was created in 2010 to boost competitive sport in schools and is delivered by the Youth Sport Trust.

Sport England and the Youth Sport Trust have since met with Government Departments to plan implementation of the recommendations. These are now underway and are being monitored by the School Games Project Board.
