House v House Unihoc Competition

The Year 5 and 6s got into house teams: Yellow, Green, Blue and Red. A win was 3 points, a draw was 2 points and a loss was 1 point.  

The first match was Read Eagles versus Blue Sharks, which the Reds won 2-0, with Nina scoring twice.   

The next match was Yellow Scorpions against the Green Vipers, and the score was 3-2 to the Vipers.   

Then was Yellows versus Blues, with the Yellows winning 3-0, with Sonny scoring twice, and Will scoring once.   

Blues versus Greens happened next, with the Blues winning 2-1.  

It was then Green Vipers versus Red Eagles, with the Reds winning again.  

The last match was Reds versus Yellows, and the Reds won again, with the score being 3-1. This meant the Reds won the competition, with a total of 9 points. Everyone else came in joint-second with 5 points.  

Everyone had a lot of fun with our favourite bits being when we scored for our teams. Sonny did a chip shot that went over the keeper and right into the middle of the goal. Leo saved a penalty and enjoyed running out of goal to attack. Leo and Sonny still wanted the Yellows to win though!
