This week we have learnt new activities and games. Starting with Ultimate Frisbee and we danced, played table tennis and learnt the basic moves in boxing.

This week we have learnt new activities and games. Starting with Ultimate Frisbee and we danced, played table tennis and learnt the basic moves in boxing.

All children started with Ultimate Frisbee and learnt different skills and techniques to gain Bronze we learnt throwing and catching, Silver we knocked over a cone and Gold medals were awarded for speed and accuracy. We all enjoyed learning these new skills and look forward to playing more Ultimate Frisbee in the summer on the field.

We learnt a street dance with instructions from Leeds Rhinos first we took some simple steps for bronze then we tried it a couple times then we started it with music. All achieving Gold at the end by learning and performing the more complex moves.

Next we moved on to boxing first we learnt how to stand and walk while boxing then we focused on foot work . For gold we put the two levels together in some shadow boxing . 

Finally, we moved on to Table Tennis first we bounced the ball a 35 taps  on the bat for bronze. Those that achieved gold managed 45 plus taps. 

Everyone showed Passion, Self Belief and Teamwork throughout the session and now look forward to doing the activities again.
