16/3/18 - District Cross Country Competition

Mr McEwen, 17 Mar 2018

It was an extremely busy event this year with over 850 pupils from approximately 20 Harlow Primary Schools. Spinney entered Year 3, 4, 5 & 6 girls and boys teams into their respective races; Y3/4s had to run 1000m and Y5/6s raced over 1500m. It was a very tough course but all of our kids enjoyed the experience and all wanted to know when the next cross country event was happening...very keen! Special Congratulations go out to Y5 Girls Team winning Bronze Medals and Y5 Boys finishing 4th and our Y3 Girls finishing in 4th Place, super results considering all races had approximately 100 runners in each event. Also, Charlie Cass (Foxes) finishing in an amazing 6th place in the Y5 Boys Race, well done Charlie!
