5/1/18 - Y5/6 Harlow District Basketball Competition
First few days back after the Christmas holiday, Spinney played in their first District Sports Event and unfortunately, didn't manage to play at their best. Spinney played 5 matches, the first against one of the tournament favourites, Nazing, easily winning by 20pts to 2pts. The results for their other matches: CS v Church Langley 4:6 (loss). CS V Churchgate 4:6 (loss). CS v Tanys Dell A 10:10 (draw). CS v Pear Tree Mead 2:8 (loss). Despite the losses, Spinney played some good basketball in patches and the tournament experience will definitely boost confidence levels for next time.
