Bike competition 🚴 at Church Langley 11th of November 2022

Ms Jordan, 11 Nov 2022

Bike competition was a fun event for our students. It took place at Church Langley school, run by the SGO David Stacey & company. Thank you to David for the transport today for our students whilst the BMAT bus was being fixed. There were laps around the astro pitch, paper round on the target, through the gate avoiding the obstacles & balancing push on the bike. Luckily the weather was great, with a dry surface and a little breeze to make condition for cycling comfortable and fun for all. The primary school staff of Harlow have worked together to create new and exciting opportunities for the local children. Developed from an initial suggestion by Luke Hammond (Purford Green), School Games Organiser David Stacey, applied for and acquired funding from Active Essex via a Travel Grant and Environmental Festival Grant to purchase brand new bikes, helmets and storage. This enabled the HDPSSA to add new Cycling Festivals to an already jam-packed sports calendar.
