We brought 2 teams to dodgeball tournament today. The teams were picked around the performance of the students during dodgeball lessons and dodgeball club after school on a Monday. There were 13 teams entered overall in the competition and then they were divided up into 3 groups. Teams for Cooks Spinney was made up of year 5 students as all our year 6 students were at the War museum :- Team1: Chelsey, Spenser, Tyler, Archie, James, Samai and Maija Team 2 :Lucie, Thomas, Joey, Ollie, Liam, Callister, Mason, Archie.B All students played amazingly well against the other schools considering all the teams were a year older than them so we have a very promising team for next year.
We played our first game again against Pear Tree Mead 1, we lost 2-1. In the next game they played Church Langley 3 and lost 2-1 it did go to sudden death as we both were on even points. After that in our last game we played Church Langley 2 but unfortunately lost 3-0
We played our first game again against Little Pardon we lost 2-1 in sudden death. In the next game they played Pear Tree Mead and won all 3 games against them. After that in our last game we played The Downs who were a very strong side, we got beaten 3-0.
The students had a great morning and looking forward to competing again next year in the tournament with a strong team as they will all be a year older.
