Futsal Festival year 5/6 @ Mark Hall School, 20th September 2019

Ms Jordan, 25 Sep 2019

Teams from: Church Langley, Tanys Dell (A and B), St Lukes, The Downs (A and B), Purford Green, Cooks Spinney (A and B), St Nicholas, Freshwaters, Longwood, Katherines, Abbotsweld, Holy Cross (A and B) and St Albans came together to play in 4 groups. There was plenty of goal-mouth action in the fast-paced format; the children adapted to the new rules with confidence and certainly benefitted from being able to watch other teams in action. We brought 2 teams to this event and both teams did brilliantly, we were so unfortunate not to go through to the final. We ended up on the same points as Millward so it then went to goals scored and Millward managed to score more goals in the competition in total. Most of the boys managed to get on the score board, Joey was the best scorer for his team. Mason was keeper and pulled off some amazing saves. We also had Lexi in year 5 the only girl on the team who played really well and showed huge potential. Overall everyone put in a solid perform to be proud of. #PROUD. Miss Jordan
