This Girl Can Festival 19th September 2019

To start off with the children done Trampolining , they really enjoyed it as they got to bounce around and there were obstacles such as: bounce pads, foam pits, activall, ninja assault course, the gauntlet and the tag attack course. There was also a gigantic airbag which you could jump onto from a specific height. You had a choice of which obstacles you could do , if you wanted to choose more than one that was okay. The second activity which the children done was MMA. For this activity you have a partner and boxing gloves , your partner would then have a hand defender; you had to kick , hit your knee of your partners hand defender. The final activity which the children done was Dance (Hip hop) where the children learnt a routine to old town road. If you would like to see the Dance it is on Cooks Spinneys Twitter page. All of the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A student  said to us that: "This Girl Can" can encourage other girls to do other things and that girls should not be scared to do things that may not be commonly known for a girl. But girls can do anything, it doesn't matter about your appearance or how you do things , it matters about you trying your best & enjoying yourself 😀👍
