Year 3 & 4 Girls Fooball Festival @ Church Langley 22nd November 2019

Mr Kirk, 27 Nov 2019

14 Girls from year 3 and 4 were chosen to represent Cooks Spinney in this years girls' football festival. The event is a fun way of engaging more girls into football at a young age and our girls loved it!

Year 3 & 4 Girls Fooball Festival @ Church Langley 22nd November 2019

Across our 2 teams we had plenty of goals, screams of joy, and even a few cartwheel celebrations to top it off. One of our super strikers scored a hat-trick in one game and amazed us all! Both teams managed to win a couple of games and one team even finished the festival unbeaten thanks to a great team effort and the practice on Tuesday after school at 'Girls Football Club'.

We were all very proud of all the girls who participated and they can't wait for the next football event!
