Table Tennis Tournament

A great afternoon at Latchmere School playing some fantastic table tennis

On Wednesday 15th four children from year 6 went to Latchmere School to play in a year 5 & 6 table tennis tournament.

The format of the the tournament consisted of five schools, each with two girls and two boys and was split into a girls and boys competition, with all players playing against each other, scoring 3 points for a win, 2 points for a draw and 1 point for a loss.

Corpus Christi started the tournament very strongly with all four of our players opening the tournament with wins, this success continued throughout the afternoon with some excellent competitive table tennis. After completing a combined total of 32 games between both girls and boys, winning 26 of them and only losing 6 Corpus Christi finished the tournament and both girls and boys were winners. 

A big congratulations to our players who played very well all afternoon, showing great competitiveness and sportsmanship; they represented Corpus Christi excellently.
