Year 5 Football Tournament
Kingston v Richmond
On Thursday 25th April eight year 5 boys travelled to Kew Association Football Club to play in a 7 aside football tournament where Kingston Borough schools played against Richmond Borough schools.
Corpus Christi played some excellent football winning their first two games 2-0 and drawing their second two games 0-0. After finishing top of our group without conceding a goal it was time to play in the quarter final of the cup.
With the score ending 0-0 against Thomson House in the quarter final it was time for a penalty shootout. Unfortunately after 3 penalties each the score ended 3-2 to Thomson House and we were out.
All the boys were fantastic and played a great tournament without conceding a goal. Well done boys.
