Mirfield Cross Country Competition

Miss Wright, 10 Oct 2017

A fantastic effort from all our runners!

Over 60 children represented Crowlees at the Mirfield Cross Country competition at Crossley Fields. We had teams of boys and girls from years 4, 5 and 6 who were competing for the chance to progress to the next round of competition, and children from years 1, 2 and 3 taking part in the fun runs.

It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm from all the children and we had some excellent results. I hope some of the younger children are inspired to run again in future years.

Well done to the Year 6 girls and boys who won as teams. Huge congratulations to the winners of their races: Billy M (Yr5), Veronica (Yr5), Amelia (Yr6) and James (Yr6).

Good luck to the Year 6 girls and boys teams who will represent school at  the Kirklees Cross Country final.
