Bikeability Level 1
Year 4 complete Level 1 Bikeability
Bikeability was on the wettest day of the year. Year 4 braved the weather to don helmets and complete a bikeability course. Everyone learnt to check the safety of their own bike, make sure their saddle was at the right height and learn how to wear a crash helmet correctly. On the playground, children discussed and practiced safe ways of getting on and off their bike and some simple road safety procedures like how to look over each shoulder to spot dangers. While it was very wet everyone persevered and many were pleased with themselves for ensuring the weather so that they could say "I did it!"
