Y5 Girls Cricket Competition

Mrs J Adams, 6 Jul 2018

After having coaching in school by Mr Grant, Year 5 girls competed against other schools at a cricket festival.

On Monday, a team of 8 girls from Year 5 went to Southchurch Park to take part in a cricket festival. The girls were all very keen to do their best - they improved as their games went on. Their first match against Temple Sutton was a draw. Fielding skills improved and they won against Friars for their second match. Their final match was against a team made up of reserves for all the schools - the girls encouraged this side to play their best - special shout out to Davina who was helping the girls and telling them when to run. All girls displayed exemplary sportsmanship and behaviour. Well done girls.
