Rounders

Here’s the rounders round up from Friday...

The Greenway B rounders team took on Potten End and Galley Hill on Friday 12th July. Greenway had a shaky start scoring just 5 rounders against a very strong Potten End team. Potten End eventually stole the show with a 10 and a half rounder performance. Greenway looked to bounce back in the next game vs Galley Hill. 3 and a half rounder was the score posted by Galley Hill to beat. Greenway scored 3 rounders from the first 3 balls before disaster struck. Countless outs left Greenway needing still 1 rounder to seal the game with just 3 batters left. The message was to keep our outs as we knew we would receive a half rounder from everyone left in at the end of the innings. The last 3 batted out the last 3 balls safely meaning Greenway received another 1 and a half rounders. This put Greenway on 4 and a half, winning the match.
