ISA North Girls’ Football Tournament

The girls’ football ‘A’ team won the ISA North Girls’ football tournament today at Queen Ethelburga’s Collegiate.

They finished level on points with Ladybarn in their group, so the girls qualified automatically for the final with a far superior goal difference. In the final they beat Ladybarn 2-0. The ‘A’ team have now qualified for the National Finals on Tuesday 26th June at St George’s Park. The girls’ football ‘B’ team also played brilliantly today, but unfortunately they lost the 5th place play off in a very close penalty shoot out. Well done everyone!
