SFSS Primary Table-Tennis

Friday 6th December SFSS primary Table Tennis, EIS.

  

On Friday 6th December, we went to a table tennis tournament with two other schools (Mundella and Saint Marie’s). We were the only pupils who went from HBJ and we came 6th out of 10 (groups of 2 so there were 20 children altogether). This meant we played 18 matches each. The level of competition was high as many of the players there play regularly so it was more challenging. 

The best person we played was a pupil from Mundella. His team ended up winning the competition and he was able to put lots of spin on the ball. We felt we did really well as two Year five pupils playing against a lot of Year 6 pupils, but we really enjoyed playing and gaining more Table Tennis experience. We have both been invited back to compete in February and we can't wait.
