Y6 Football matches Vs Nether Edge Primary School
Friday 24th January vs NEPS at The Umix Centre
On Friday 24th January, we took 3 Hunter’s Bar teams to play against Nether Edge Primary School. We had one Year 5/6 girls’ team and two Year 6 boy teams.
The games were all really close with the boys winning 2 games and drawing 2. The girls lost both of their games and regardless of the result all the teams teams tried to look for improvements for their next games. The boy’s team consisted of a few new players: Rayaan, Awad, Suleyman, Max, Quillan and Howard. Elvie and Safia were new players for the girls team playing in their first matches. All of our new players did considerably well fitting into the existing tams. One of the star players for the boys team was Quillan who "shone brightly" in net with one clean sheet in two games.
Ultimately, special thanks must go to Miss Drohan for being able to stand in for Mr Fairweather in helping to take us to the football match. All the teams are looking forward to the league games coming up in March!
