Hurstmere Boys Support Panathlon Challenge

14 Sports Leaders from years 9 and 10 supported the running of the Panathlon Aquatic Finals held at the Olympic Park in the Aquatic Centre.

On Thursday 7th June a group of sports leaders from year 9 and 10 travelled to the London Aquatic Centre to help with the Berkshire Panathlon Finals. All sports leaders were given a job to help out, some were in the water assisting competitors and others were poolside timing events and deciding on the final podium places. The leaders had to assist a variety of disabilities and help them to complete the activities they participated in. The leaders found this a rewarding and great experience and enjoyed the day.
