Quadkids 2018

A team of year 9 boys support the Bexley Primary School Quadkids competition as part of the School Games programme.

Once again Hurstmere's fantastic sports leaders support the running of one of the borough's School Games Inter School competitions. 10 sports leaders from year 9 went to Erith Athletics Track and organised the Vortex throwing event as part of the Quadkids competition in May. This event was attended by 18 Bexley Primary Schools whose team of athletes all competed in the 75M Sprint, Standing Long Jump, 600M Run and Vortex Throw. Hurstmere boys teamed up with sports leaders from Bexleyheath Academy, Erith School, Townley Grammar and volunteers from Bexley Athletics Club and were an integral part of the workforce that ensured the event ran smoothly and everyone had a great afternoon.
