Intra-school Gymnastics Y6 (31/01/19)

In response to demand from our House Captains, we organised another intra-house competition to tie in with our unit on gymnastics.

We began with the Floor Work – One Foot Balance! What a great activity! The children lined up in teams and competed against each other as we worked through the 8 activities (and we made up a 9th: One foot, stand on table with eyes closed) and recorded which team won each round.

Then we did the Vault Standing – Broad Jump. Again, the children lined up and jumped against each other. We recorded them on the iPad and played it back in slow motion to be sure of the results, and disqualified those that broke the rules!
