Year 6 Squash Experience (01/11/18)
Having had three sessions learning “squash skills” in the school hall, 8 children were selected by the squash coach to attend a session at his squash club today.
The 8 Year 6 children who were invited to visit the squash club were clearly delighted to have been chosen. They had the opportunity to use their new skills on actual squash courts and see how the game is played.
Of these 8, 5 have now been selected by the squash coach to represent the school in an inter-school tournament at the end of November / beginning of December. Obviously, those who have been chosen are thrilled at the prospect!
