Football Time, Come Rain or Shine!

Yr5/6 Boys Borough Football Competition
On Tuesday, a selection of boys from the school football team went along to a very wet and windy tournament at Chessington School. They faced not only the weather, but also six other teams to try to fight for a place in the next round. Unfortunately, despite fantastic team spirit and excellent elements of play, the boys did not qualify. KOP did however, secure ‘Goal of the Tournament’, scored by Min Woo, against the reigning champions, Ellingham Primary. Min Woo unexpectedly (and slightly unintentionally!) hit the ball into the back of the net from over the half way line.
