Two Splash-tastic Bronze Medals!

Representing East Anglia, our fab five – Harry S, Alex S, Henry S, Ben M, Harry H – competed at the ISA National Swimming Finals at the London Aquatics Centre. The team came a fantastic third overall and two of our swimmers picked up bronze medals!

The highlight of the day for Alex S (Year 6) was swimming the 50m individual freestyle – he powered his way to the finish line claiming a new PB of 33.95 and winning a bronze medal. Harry H (Year 8) also had a fantastic result in his individual freestyle event, securing a PB and a bronze medal. Well done to Henry S (Year 5) who came fourth place with a superb time of PB 35.06 for his freestyle event; Harry S (Year 6) who finished fifth in the 50m backstroke, and Ben M (Year 8) who enjoyed his first experience of swimming in a gala this size; it was fantastic to see him diving off the block to compete in the freestyle relay. A big thank you to our swimming coach, Mrs Sarah Heatley, for being the team manager for the event. The children enjoyed having her positive energy at poolside.
