The U13s at Norfok County Rugby Finals

The U13s were faced with a tough group, but they stepped up to the mark with a 15-0 win against Wymondham College, followed by a 20-0 win against Downham High. T

he final game of the group against Wymondham High was a particularly tough affair against a well-organised and physical team. In the forwards Luca P, Campbell T and Danny W all carried the ball well and with some strong lines of running from Elliott H and Isaac B, the scores were level going into the final five minutes of the match. With time ticking down, a lovely move from the backs and a well-timed pass from Arthur C put Danny in the space he needed to score the winning try. This result set up a final with Norwich School. LPS@TH completely dominated the first half and were very unlucky to find themselves 0-5 down. The boys fought back and another try from Danny levelled the scores before half time. In the second half, the physicality of the group games started to take their toll on the boys and Norwich were able to break away to secure the win for themselves. Although they were disappointed, the boys were a huge credit to the School and they should be proud of the Rugby that they played.

Team: Luca P, Danny W, Alfie S, Ben M, Joseph G, Campbell TMyles M, Harry S-C, Elliott H, James C, Isaac B, Arthur C, William B, Ryan W
