Year 7 House Sports

Tom Carmichael, 18 Jan 2019

All students in year seven competed in House Sports this week, with three sports on offer to chose from.

Macmillans' House system is representative of famous people from the history of the town. With Captain James Cook and Middlesbrough chairman Steve Gibson just two of the inspirations behind the naming process. For the students, choosing the best people for the best sport was essential to success. Despite this competitive edge, all students competed in great spirit in the three sports - rugby, sports hall athletics and hockey. The activeness and positive attitude adopted by the students was admirable and with results being presented in assembly all year seven pupils can give themselves a pat on the back.
