Mini-Tennis Year 5/6 tournament
On Wednesday 22nd May we took our Year 5/6 children to the Borough Tennis tournament at Riverside Secondary School.
Tennis team: Klarisa, Lily-Mae, Kehinde, Owais
Our children thoroughly enjoyed the Year 5/6 Tennis tournament at Riverside Secondary School with all of our children winning at least one match each at the competition. There were some very close games and our team just missed out on a qualifying place to get into the semi-finals.
This was the first time there had been a Borough Tournament for Year 5/6 Tennis and the children performed most admirably and did their school proud. We also had two Year 5 girls in the Tennis team who will be able to take part in the competition again next year.
Well done to St Teresa's who were the Borough Winners for 2018/19
