Northbury get off to a flyer in their first Ballerz Girls League match of the season vs St Peters
A double hat-trick from Lily-Mae sent Northbury off to a storming victory in their opening game. The quality and organisation was too much for the St Peters team who found it difficult to attack under intense pressure. Lily-Mae opened the scoring in the first few minutes after a nice pass from captain Leighana. Lily-Mae then double that lead cutting in from the left and smashing the ball into the top corner. Lily-Mae sealed her hat-trick before half time before adding a fourth just before the break.
In the second half Klarisa and Kelese added their names to the score sheet with close range finishes. Some great work down the right by Kelese and a super cross allowed Lily to get her 5th with Kelese again turning provider for Lily to complete the double hat-trick.
Northbury will face Ripple in the next Ballerz Girls League game
