Year 5/6 Quicksticks Hockey team finish 3rd in Borough Competition!!
Our Year 5/6 Quicksticks Hockey team secured 3rd place in the Borough Competition on Wednesday 6th March!
On Wednesday 6th March 2019 we took 2 teams to the Borough Quicksticks Hockey tournament.
Northbury 1 were drawn against Ripple 1, St Joseph's (Dagenham) and St Peters 2
Northbury 2 were drawn against Southwood 1, St Peters 1, William Bellamy 2
Northbury 1 results:
vs St Peters 2 - Won 1-0
vs Ripple 1 - Won 4-0
vs St Joseph's - Won 3-0
Northbury 2 results:
vs William Bellamy 2 - Drew 2-2
vs St Peters 1 - Drew 2-2
vs Southwood 1 - Lost 3-2
Northbury 1 qualified for the semi-finals vs George Carey but narrowly missed out on the final losing 1-0. They did however win 3rd placed medals. Well done to all the children that took part in the tournament you all did really well and showed great skill and dedication.
