Northbury Primary School came from 1-0 down to beat Hunters Hall 2-1 in our final group game of the Barking and Dagenham Post Cup!!

Year 6 boys team secure their place in the last 16!!

Goals from Nataniel and Kehinde booked Northbury a place in the final 16 of the B&D Post Cup!!

Northbury started the game slowly and it was Hunters Hall who took the lead with a fine finish from outside the box that went into the top corner. Northbury then found a rhythm and began to create goal scoring opportunities with Nataniel having two 1v1's that the Hunters Hall keeper saved.

Northbury then finally broke the dead lock with some great work up front from Barimah who found Nataniel who smashed home from close range. This meant the teams were level at 1-1 going in to half-time.

The second half of the game started well with both teams finding opportunities to score and saves coming from both keepers to keep their teams within touching distance of victory. A chance finally came for Northbury with some great dribbling skills from Ryan beating 2 players before sliding through for Kehinde to slot past the Hunters Hall keeper. Some real end to end stuff in the second half but Northbury managed to come back from 1-0 down to secure a 2-1 victory which puts them through to the last 16!

Well done to all the boys that took part!!
