Year 6 team beat Roding Cannington to progress to the Parish Cup quarter finals!!
Two goals from Josh and two goals from Jephthah secure a 4-1 win for Northbury Primary School in the 9 a side Parish Cup!
In recent times, Northbury have always succumb to defeat against Dagenham based Roding Cannington who often produce strong teams in football competitions. However, on this occasion Northbury ran out 4-1 winners with a very convincing display at Hewett Road. A fast start with lots of pressure from the front 4 of Josh, Jephthah, Zakir and Abdul W put Roding Cannington on the back foot. Northbury defended really well and held Roding at bay for most of the game other than the goal they scored.
Northbury now progress to the Quarter Finals of the Essex cup for the first time.
