Year 6 team win 4-0 in first round of Parish cup

A hat-trick from Jephthah and a late goal from Josh earned a place for Northbury in the second round of the cup.

A solid defensive display and a hat-trick from Jepthah pushed Northbury through to the next round of the Parish Cup. Northbury were the dominant team in the early stages and Jephthah was put through 1v1 to make it 1-0 to the visitors. Chances from Kamal and Josh also put the Benhurst keeper under some pressure before Jephthah doubled his own and Northbury's tally for the game. Northbury ran in at half-time 2-0 in front and the instructions were for them to keep enjoying it and keep getting the ball forward. Jephthah then sealed his hat-trick with a long range effort before turning provider to cut back for Josh to smash home. A convincing display which puts us into the next round vs Harrow Lodge.
