Kwik Cricket Tournament

On Thursday Oaklands took part in the Yeovil Schools kwik cricket tournament. It was a perfect afternoon in the sun for some cricket! 

There were 15 teams competing, with the top 4 from each group going through to the County qualifiers.  

Game 1 – Vs. St Gildas primary school 

Oaklands had lost the toss and were up first to bat, that didn’t faze the first batting pair as they finished the innings having scored 19 runs! The batting continued to impress, including lots of 4’s and 6’s from all pairs. Oaklands carried on the great start whilst bowling and fielding, demonstrating some great teamwork.
