12 Schoolgames Days of Christmas and National Santa Dash!

12 days of active challenges with a medal at the end!

Starting next Tuesday, 1st December, we shall be encouraging all of our children to take part in the 'Schoolgames' 12 Days of Christmas, where 12 consecutive physical challenges can be undertaken in the run up to the festive period.  These will include events such as: ball and wall challenge; football dribble challenge; Target throws; Keepy uppys; Shuttle runs; Catch and Clap; Hopscotch, and more!  The challenge will incorporate the national Santa Dash which is held nationwide on Friday 11th December.  

The challenges will be run by our sports apprentices, Emily and Jack, at lunchtimes.  All children need to do to take part is to turn up!

As part of the challenge, medals can be purchased from school for the tiny price of 99p and will be available for order via schoolmoney from Monday.   However, you will need to be quick, as the deadline to order these is Friday 4th December so that we can get them to school in time.  

The powerpoint of the challenges will also be shared so that family members can take part at home or children can catch up should they be unavailable on a certain day.

So, let's get as many children as active as possible, having a great time in the run up to Christmas!
