Celebrating sporting success- Spring 2018
Read here to learn about the sporting success stories of many O.L.I pupils in activities ad events for which they participate in outside of school.
Celebrating sporting success
Using our school sports display board, children have had the opportunity to celebrate their own sporting achievements for which they have participated in outside of school.
Congratulations to the following pupils for their excellent achievements:
- Oisin (Robins): well done for being selected for the Chelsea Development squad.
- Erin (Parakeets): gaining a level 3 in her first year of swimming, making excellent progress.
- Emilia (Parakeets): for improving skills in gymnastics and trying ‘really hard’. This effort and enthusiasm paid off as Emilia gained a red badge!
- Callum (Parakeets): well done for achieving badges in swimming.
- Anna (Kingfishers): achieving a distinction in a recent ballet exam and feeling ‘amazed’ by this.
- Charlotte P (Kingfishers): completing a superb 50 adult (5k) parkruns; that is a lot of running miles!
- Naomi (Kingfishers): for gaining a distinction in a ballet exam. We hope you enjoyed the celebration party!
- Caitriona (Parrots): showing great perseverance in accomplishing a green badge in gymnastics.
- Karolina (Herons): winning an impressive five rosettes in horse riding.
I continue to look forward to hearing about the sporting achievements of our pupils during the course of the summer term. Mr Keady
