This week we had the pleasure of hosting the Spar Lancashire Commonwealth Games Relay Baton

Commonwealth Baton Arrives at Breck

On the 22nd June  2022 , Stannah Primary School came to Breck . For us as a school we thought it was a big

deal . To represent the school, we lined up around the track  and as the pupils and teachers went round we all cheared for them . After they  went round once the colour team captains had a job to do , first they ran from captain to captain with the Golden Baton . After we finished on the track the whole school went and sat on the field to listen to the speeches done by the Y5sports committe . As we get close to the end of the speeches we told everyone the core values of the comonwealth games desteny , humanity and equality .

After a lot of practice we managed to create the commonwealth games logo out of yellow , green and blue paper .  After we did all that we sent the Golden Baton to St.Johns Primary School .
