Wyre Girls' Football Tournament 22.11.22

On Tuesday the 22nd November 2022, a group of Breck Primary School pupils took part in Wyre Girls' football tournament. We scored many brilliant goals and the defence  was impeccable, no team could get past us!

We came across some very difficult teams ; we pushed our way through until the end. Everyone, played exceptional and it was a great experience for children playing and the adults watching too. There were four leagues and we were in the second league. We came 2nd out of our league by one point! Which means we managed to get into the quarter- final, but sadly we got beaten by a really good team ( 1-0 ) , we tried are hardest!

View from the touchline: Well, what a dramatic afternoon of football we all witnessed at yesterday's tournament. Many of our squad play for club sides in their spare time and their skills and knowledge was definitely on show  for all to see. Every player played magnificently and should be proud of getting all the way to the quarter-finals. A fabulous and well-deserved achievement. Also a huge thank you to all the parents who took time out of their working day to get our team to and from the tournament and those that stayed to offer such positive support. We really couldn't attend so many events if it wasn't for your  help, it's greatly appreciated.
