Army Day

Sports Crew, 13 Mar 2018

On Monday some men from the army came to school and did some skills with us .

On Monday all of us from year 5 got to have a session with the Army men. We did a game called mine field , we had to be blind folded and our friend had to guide us through the mi es. If we stood on a mine we had to start again. It was really hard because you had to make sure that the instructions were really good and that your partner understands what you are saying.

Then we had to do a obstacle course which was going over a ladder and in a tunnel then along a thin bench . Then we had to crawl and try to shoot into a bucket to score points.

The last thing we did was like a maths challenge , we had to work as a team and get the right answer on the grid . We could only move one number st a time and had to make each row and each column add up to 15 . Our time was 8 minutes but I think the best time was 3 minutes.

Anyway we all had a great time , it was fun and hard work but the army men were really nice .
