Friendly football match for years 3 and 4
We organised a friendly match so that the younger boys who come to football club every week could have a chance at playing in a game.
Tuesday 13 th February, today we took our boys from years 3/4 over to Clarborough school for a friendly football match. The idea was to give these boys a chance to represent school and play in a match. They turn up for after school football club every week and we wanted to say thank you .
Anyway it was very wet and even muddier than usual but they loved it. They cheered, smiled and ran their hearts out. It was 7 a side and everyone kept being subbed on and off. No one moaned or complained and in fact it was the opposite. They kept telling me who hadn't had enough pitch time and where they should all play. It was an absolute pleasure to take them and when we scored you would of thought we had won the World Cup . Fantastic game, well played boys. 👍⚽️
