First match of the season.

Girls Football Match

Well, yesterday we played the first game this year. I was only year 6 in the team and was captain. We had 2 year 5 and 4 year 4 and 1 year 3. We played CarrHill school and it was good game. I thought we scored but Mrs P said it wasn’t a goal because the goalkeeper had her hand on the ball and you Cant  kick it out if she had.

First I was a bit cross but then we scored because Cassidy won the ball and had a shot and it went in.  Then we scored again and Amelia blasting it in the goal. I got a bit fed up and wanted to swap places but Mrs P said that it was just important to stop a goal as score a goal.

Next they scored but it wasn’t Chloe or my fault, she did  a save and it hit the girl on her back and went in.

We scored again and it was a corner and the girl from there team hit it in her own goal. In the end I did 3 cheers and we all shook hands.
