Inter house football competition 2018
This years interhouse football competition was held on Thursday 17th May.
Winners of this years interhouse football are Windsor House. Quite fitting after the Royal wedding this weekend. They were the only house that entered two teams too. Altogether 46 boys and girls from KS2 took part in this competition that was organised once again by our school sports crew. we had two pitches and each match was 5 minutes each way. It was decided that everyone on the team should have the same amount of pitch time. This meant some careful working out and a lot of tactics were involved. In the end it worked out well and everyone really enjoyed taking part and having the opportunity to represent their house.
The last game was the decider, Windsor needed to beat Balmoral and Buckingham had to beat Sandringham to win. Well Sandringham scored a great goal and then defended , chance after chance was wasted and Buckingham could not get through. That meant a win for Windsor and they would be this years champions. Well Windsor won easily 4-0 and are this years champions.
Well done to everyone that took part.
