Leading PE
Today all of us on the sports crew lead the PE session for foundation.
This morning we all taught the pe lesson for 36 children from our foundation unit.
For the last term we have worked alongside the teachers and Mrs P and today we actually did the lesson and showed them what to do . We helped them and repeated stuff over and over and they could all do it by the end.
We went o to the field and set up a mini schoolgames day . Our house colours in cones to see where they had to go. Then we got small bats and beanbags to see if they could follow the course and balance at the same time.
We did running g in a straight line and passing g a relay baton to the next person. We did more balancing and had to explain that they needed to keep their head up and use arms to help keep their balance.
I think they really liked it and Mrs Palmer and Mrs Dent and Mrs Walker all were really pleased with how the children did so well.

We aim to ensure success for all and to create a healthy self-image. We feel that Physical Education plays an important role in helping us to fulfill this.
