Mini tennis

Mrs Paton, 8 Jun 2018

Today we entered 3 teams into the school games mini tennis competition.

Mini tennis

Today we took 3 teams to the School Games  Mini Tennis qualifier at Caunton Tennis Club.  Each  consisted of 2 boys and 2 girls from years 3/4. They all absolutely loved it. There were 8 teams that entered altogether which in a way is a little disappointing as 3 of those were our school. I say dissapointing because there are over 50 primary schools in Bassetlaw and I suppose I just feel for those children out there that never had the opportunity.

Anyway, our kids loved it. They all played 3 games and weren’t phased at all. One of our teams even managed to come in 3rd place and they were over the moon when they all got a bronze medal.

Thank youCaunton for hosting and Simon from Newark SGO and Michala Our very own SGO.
