School Games basketball competition 2018

Today we took two teams to the Bassetlaw school's level 1 basketball competition. Both teams were very excited and eager to play ,  before we arrived they were chatting on the bus about which other schools they thought would be there and if any of their friends were playing .

Altogether 7 teams turned up which meant everyone got to play 6 games. Each game was 4 mins each way and it was all umpired by the sports leaders from Tuxford Academy.

It worked  out really well for us as both teams got exactly the same number of points, they both won 2, draw 2 and lost 2.

Overall they both came joint 3rd place which I  extremely proud of. They showed true teamwork and helped and encouraged each other. Great sportsmanship too.

Well done team Sparkenhill.
