This half term the children have been learning all about Hockey
This half term in p.e the chrildren have been learning all about hockey. They all started by learning how to hold the hockey sticks correctly. After that was achieved the children learnt how to pass the ball to and from a partner. The next lesson concentrated on teaching the children different dribbling techniques. After the children were confident with all the skills and techniques they had been learning, they got the opputinity to put all of it into practice. They all got to play small competitive games against one another.
Within the games children showed exceptuational team work and sportsmanship.
