Bronze medals for the Kwik Cricket skills team

12 Year 3/4 took part in a Cricket Skills Festival at Falkland Cricket Club against other schools. The children representing Spurcroft were excited to be taking part.

There were 4 different stations incorporating different skills; batting, catching, throwing, bowling, fielding & agility. The children had a practise at each station first and then a mini-competition took part, working as a team, to set the highest score. All the activities the children had done at school with the cricket coach who had helped with their PE lessons. The children worked well together supporting each other throughout the festival. The final scores were announced and Spurcroft had finished in 3rd place. A superb achievement by the team.

Well done to all who represented the school: Deegan Delport, Isaac Layton, Alec Cracana, Johnny Way, Joshua Norton, Reece Kilroy, Lily Otorepec, Rosie Beaumont, Pearl Patel, Mia Bowley, Amy Brown and Maddie Collins. Thank you to parents who helped at the event.
